The rooms at Japaning Hotel Toji were absolutely amazing! They had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and even a washing machine. The private bathroom with a hot tub was a real treat too. I felt right at home in the cozy kitchenette, where I could cook my own meals and enjoy the city views from the window. It was a budget traveler's dream!

Although the bathrooms were well-equipped with shower/tub combinations, I personally would have preferred a separate shower. But hey, that's just my opinion, and I understand that others might still appreciate the convenience of having both options available.

The hotel is in an amazing location and it was near the local attractions. It's a 5-minute walk from Kujo tube station. Every staff member is really helpful and strives to meet your needs...

It was clean and the staff were superfriendly and outstandingly accommodating, beds were large. The venue's position was central.

The room was spacious and we had a comfortable bed, a convenient kitchenette, and even a washer/dryer. The location was also very convenient, with Kyoto Station within walking distance and buses easily accessible. The best part of our stay was the exceptional service we received when we accidentally left a cheesecake in the room fridge. The staff found it and went above and beyond to ensure we could retrieve it. Absolutely first-class service!

My children wanted to have more activities available for families with children.

No daily supply of drinking water.

The hotel provided a very comfortable experience. It is in an ideal location, close to dinner restaurants and main tourist attractions. the rooms are new-fashioned and the staff is polite with a smile.

The bed was large and extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for the entire family. The staff was very kind and went out of their way to accommodate us, despite the language barrier. The location was also great, with the Kyoto station and bus stops within walking distance. it was a wonderful surprise and excellent value for money.

For families with children, it would be great if the hotel could provide a travel cot or extra bed/mattress for young ones. My kids wished there was a table in the room where we could eat our meals.

I always stay at the hotel I love. The staff treated my old parents kindly, making our stay memorable. It has Wi-Fi, a TV, kettle, cookware, and AC—everything I need. Can't wait to return for Easter!

Some guests may find the rooms to be slightly small, but it is not a significant issue as most of the time is spent exploring the city.
